Our Logo

The logo for Alive in Christ Church Lutheran is tied to the main theme of our church Mission Statement… We are Alive in Christ… Equipping, Encouraging, and Serving others to GROW the family of God in the one true faith.

~ The leaf image symbolizes our life and growth in Christ our Savior, growing together as individuals and as a family of God. We are Alive in Christ, as Paul states in Ephesians 2:4-5, "But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions, it is by grace you have been saved."

~ The cross within the veins of the leaf points to Christ as central to our Faith… “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing." John 15.5.  The vein itself is white symbolizing how our sins are washed clean by the blood of Christ (Revelation 7:14).

~ The colors of the logo include both the blue and green colors from the LCMS branding guide, used with permission.

~ The green color represents life and growth and is appropriately in the same color family as the Synod’s “Life Together” branding.

~ The blue color is the LCMS logo brand blue, which represents our tie to Lutheran heritage and doctrine.
